DayTask is built with privacy as a core principle. The App is designed to operate entirely offline on your device, and we do not collect any personal data.
The App does not automatically collect any data. Specifically:
If you choose to contact us for support (see Section 5), any information you voluntarily include in your email is not considered automatic data collection by the App.
All task data you create within the App is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Your data:
However, device-level backups (such as iCloud backups) are managed by your device’s operating system and may retain copies of your data independently. These backups are subject to Apple’s privacy policies.
The App uses badge count notifications only, which display the number of incomplete tasks on the App icon. The App does not send push notifications, alerts, or sounds. Badge notification permission is requested from you and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
The App includes a “Contact” feature that opens your email client with a pre-filled support email. The email draft may include basic device and operating system information in the footer. This information is only sent to us if you choose to send the email. The App itself never transmits this information automatically.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and runs on Apple’s platforms (iOS and macOS). Apple may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies. The App itself does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.
Since DayTask does not automatically collect any data from any user, the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect upon release of a new version of the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
